What is notodoris minor?

Notodoris minor is a species of sea slug found in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia. It belongs to the family Discodorididae, which are known for their flat and round bodies with a prominent mantle collar. This species can grow up to 3 cm in length and is usually found in shallow waters, often on sandy or rocky substrates. Notodoris minor has a distinctive black and white coloration, with black spots covering the underside of the mantle. It feeds on sponges and is known to produce a toxic mucus to deter predators. Like many other nudibranchs, it is hermaphroditic and reproduces by laying a spiral coil of eggs.
